Lyrically, the song is very impressive. Blake encourages each of us to find our way out of the darkness.

Now I’ve had Witness on a constant loop and I can’t help but praise this outstanding original. This captivating cut was a joyful experience which can quite easily bring a smile to any face. Anyhow the gorgeous melody was uplifting, those whimsical harmonies were tinged with a gospel influence whilst Ali’s vibrant vocals were literally a colourful explosion.
